Practical Hints for Project-Based Learning in ICT Classes
Original language description
Project-based learning is a modern method of education that Czech schools slowly started to use in the last 10 years. There is not exactly lot of experience with this method in Czech Republic, though it is fairly popular in USA. This paper should presentsome theoretical basis for project-based learning and introduce its specifics, using example project meant for ICT classes in High school. There is also explained difference between problem-based and project-based education, which have some common factors. The rest of the paper are authors hints and experiences for application of project-based learning in ICT classes at Czech elementary school. These hints were picked up during authors work on pilot study on project-based learning financed by SGS research project focused on this method of education.
