The article presents the author&apos;s concept of teaching body percussion at a university, implemented in the practice of teaching the subject Practiсum of Musical Creativity at the Pedagogical Faculty of the University of West Bohemia, thematic blocks with practical tasks are provided, aimed at the gradual mastery of the art of body percussion by students from basic elements to a professional performance level. At the same time, the emphasis is placed on the inclusion of independent creative activity of students at each stage of training (in individual work and work in small groups) based on a combination of body percussion with other methods.
