This paper focuses on the development of cross-border B2C e-commerce within the EU single market. The aim of this paper is to determine the contribution of cross-border B2B e-commerce and the barriers to its development, to evaluate the conditions for its development in the Czech Republic and to analyse to what extent Czech e-shops are involved in cross-border business. The paper introduces the results of research conducted at the beginning of 2015 among 240 Czech e-shops that focus on the sale of electronics, clothes and sports equipment.
