Original language description
The paper deals with mathematical modelling of a four-axle locomotive vibration excited by vertical track irregularities. The vibration analysis method is based on the stochastical approach. Using the linearized model of adhesion characteristics betweenwheels and rails and torque characteristics of engine, the complete mathematical model of locomotive is transformed into the frequency domain. The dynamic response is expressed by upper limits of displacements, deformations and forces transmitted by couplings calculated using spatial power spectral densities of the track irregularities.
