Original language description
The results of botanical composition analyse in Bohemian Forest (Šumava mountains, localities Lenora, 805 m a.s.l. and Zhůří, 1170 m a.s.l. and Šumava mountains foothills, locality Rojov, 850 m a.s.l.) showes, that no-harwesting of grasslands lead to thedegradation of sward composition. Grazed or mowed + grazed stands have better sward composition with dominant Poa pratensis, Festuca pratensis, Dactylis glomerata, Lolium perenne and Trifolium repens, in unharwested stands develops Festuca rubra, Agropyron repens and urtica dioica. Simpson´s index of species diversity values are in mowed or grazed stands often signifficantly higher than in unharwested stands.
