    Examining student behavior during the learning process is an area that enables the detection of weaknesses in teaching and increases its overall effectiveness in terms of both students and educational institutions. Our contribution focuses on the area ofknowledge verification with IT support. The research here is oriented on various aspects according the above-mentioned purposes of the analysis or the available data. The subject of our research was student behavior during electronically realized test.Specialized software was created for this purpose that can provide detailed information about each step taken by students during the testing. The method of analysis was proposed for the collected data and will be described in the paper. The method is based on the phases that students are passing through when answering test questions. The phases focused on the preparation, the actual question response and the checking were detected, with temporal data being examined according to various c
