    The aim of this paper is to analyse the use of payment cards in retail in the Czech Republic from the side of clients (buyers), and from the second side, from the side of sellers. Questionnaires for clients are targeted to the satisfaction with cards and service connected with them. By sellers is analysed the satisfaction with the profit and function of cards. From this search follows, that 92 percent from 352 respondents in South Bohemia have payment card and more than 35 percent have more cards. In retail there was found that 70 percent of sellers had a payment terminal.
