Influence of photoreactivation on induction of gynogenesis in sterlet, Acipenser ruthenus
Original language description
DNA photoreactivation in UV-irradiated sperm asmeasured by the comet assay resulted in a signi?-cant level of UV-induced DNA damage restorationafter irradiation by incandescent bulb light for 10 min. The level of DNA restoration washigher in sperm irradiated with a higher dose(1000 J m?2); hence, it is expected that thein?uence of reactivation would be particularlysigni?cant if relatively high doses of UV used.
