The paper describes the selected results of the research project Laboratory of Safety and Xstream model, comprehensive training of the professionals. The paper also informs about selected results, methods and possibilities, usable to increase the effectiveness of selection and training of professionals ? managers. The model Xstream, the applied methods of the psychophysical and mental section of the project Laboratory of Safety are useful in the human resources management from the point of view of the choice and the qualitative development of abilities of individuals, small teams and managers to fulfil tasks in the security environment, challenging environment and crisis management.
