Original language description
The author in his article deals with the categorization of unstructured decision problems and suggests the types and examples of unstructured decision problems solved in command and control units of ground forces in selected contemporary military operations. Decision-making is the ground process for solving unstructured problems in command and control. Decision-making is identified as selecting a course of action as the one most favourable to accomplish the mission. This decision can be deliberate, using the military decision-making process (MDMP) and a full staff, or it can be done very quickly by the commander alone.
