Original language description
The paper deals with application of modern civil engineering software for projection C-IED (Counter ? Improvised Explosive Devices) training area. The whole project documentation was created by software AutoCAD Civil 3D. AutoCAD Civil 3D is a design anddrafting program that supports a wide range of civil engineering tasks. This software was used especially for planning of tertiary roads, which create the main part of the training area. Project documentation was vital for obtaining planning permission.The C-IED training area will be able to provide complete C-IED training for all units of the Czech Army dispatch in foreign missions. There were three units of Czech Army participating in this project: Military Geodetical and Hydrometeorological Office in Dobruška, University of Defence and 15th Engineer brigade.
