Different Approaches of Evaluation and Negotiation Low Endurable Terrain

Original language description

This article deals with the possibilities of terrain negotiation in extraordinary situations. There are described instruments for measuring the trafficability. The first one is the telescopic penetrometer used by the Czech Army and the second one is the cone penetrometer used by some NATO countries. The main aims of this article are the possibilities of overcoming low endurable terrain with perspective materials - mats. These mats were used during terrain measurements in extremely adverse conditions. It was tested weather the vehicles mired in terrain are able to pass with the mats. The procedures, the calculations and the results of the experiment are presented here.
