    Flight Endurance Measurement of a Multicopter UAS

  • Original language description

    This article describes the flight endurance measurements of current commercially available multicopter. Endurance, as one of the most comprehensive parameter of this machine, is influenced by a number of factors as altitude, weather conditions, character of the flight, load and energy capacity. The theoretical description of influencing factors is complemented by practical flight tests, based on measurements on the representative Yuneec Typhoon H hexacopter carried out both in the Czech Republic region and at the Bagram Air Field (BAF) in Afghanistan. These measurements can be the basis for the future measurement of flight performances of multicopters, which are about to be introduced into the Czech Army operation service.
