Reflections on Implementing Software Applications in Education: Utilizing a New Categorization of Teaching with Applications
Original language description
We will create categories for the use of software applications in lessons. In their framework, we will examine various aspects and methods of teaching that use applications. The categories will allow us to better describe the kind of environment that is existing in a lesson in which the application is used in some way. Our goal is to work our experience and teaching methods to this framework, but also to provide a guide for the reader so that he is able to reflect on his experience and methods in a similar way. In particular, we try to reveal the reasons of disorders arising in lessons when we using applications. In general, we discuss also possibilities of teaching using applications in the following way. We are investigating the possibilities of the coexistence of a teacher and a “computer” in a single lesson and the problem of reducing all teaching using applications to the independent work of students.
