The paper deals with the relations between knowledge management and knowledge at all on the background of computer science, artificial intelligence and the new possibilities of geographical information technologies that can help us to carry out the knowledge management strategies. In this paper, the problem of knowledge communication is addressed and the use of different forms of communication is discussed. Our decisions are becoming increasingly dependent on understanding of complex relations and phenomena in the world around and GIS technology is able to incorporate this new requirements. The main goal has been to show selected aspects of this process.
