    Paper brings forward the issue of contemporary trend in university education manners in Czech Republic - the rapid and broad implementation of multimedia and virtual means into the tuition of students. Pros and contras are discussed as well as exemplified in pieces of experience from the department of psychology at FEM, CULS in Prague. The department has already gained quite considerable amount of experience with above mentioned means as their use at the department?s grounds can be dated back to the year 2003. At present there exist six subjects extensively using virtual support, whose development was supported by the Fund of the Higher Education Development of Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as a new part of complex virtual system and new supports are being developed just now. In comparative study were assessed the contributions of such tool for psychological courses, which require self experience, its advantages and disadvantages, with focus mainly on experience highly
