The paper focuses on employee training efficiency in organisations in the Czech Republic. The aim of the paper is to evaluate, based on the results of the quantitative survey (n = 109), the efficiency of employee training in organisations in the Czech Republic and to test dependencies between selected qualitative characteristics that relate to the issues examined. The results of the survey have shown that only 38.5% of respondent organisations systematically evaluate training of their employees. Significant factors that influence the evaluation of training efficiency in organisations include the existence of an HR department (p-value = 0.000, Phi coefficient = 0.529) and the personnel strategy defined (p-value = 0.000, Phi coefficient = 0.377), which are factors related both to the size of an organisation (p-value = 0.000, Phi coefficient = 0.537) and the human resource management quality.
