The Correlations between the Partial and Final Grades
Original language description
The goal of this study is to verify whether the partial evaluation has some relation with the final exam grades. Results of 268 students enrolled in the compulsory course "Mathematical methods in Economy II" were recorded during the semester and during the final exam. The written part of the final exam consisted of a theoretical and practical cases, th eoral part included two questions. Statistical anlyses of the mutual dependencies indicated that results during the semester and the results of the written test had influence to the final examination grade. The dependencies on the teacher, branch of study and gender were not statistically important. These results were discussed with some other authors´ findings.
