Managerial competencies are ranked among the necessary demands of employers while hiring. The characteristics of basic notionsis inherent in the first part of this study. The next part contains defined aim, which is to evaluate managerial competencies through a sample of 140 second-year students studying at the Faculty of Business Economics in Košice and subsequently to form a student performance evaluation model. In the Methodology part of the research, there are defined the selection and modificationof the metrics concerning the competency valuation which are proposed by experts from the OECD. The last part deals with the output of a linear regression using a formula that predicts student performance.
