Original language description
Knowledge texts are special kinds of educational texts created by methods of Knowledge Engineering and based on knowledge units as the representation of knowledge. In this paper, we concentrate to investigating the differences among normal an d knowledge texts in processing by human brain. The objective is to reveal differenc es in human brain activity within working the texts and within recalling information and knowledg e previously studied by the texts. Thus we invite 24 probands to undergo the experiment usi ng the functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). We monitor and measure whether knowle dge texts induce different brain activity compared to the normal ones. To eliminate the in fluence of prior knowledge to the recalling phase we use the texts on agriculture waste proce ssing; the majority of the probands is not familiar with this branch.
