Since the publication of the preliminary report on Diptera of Duchcov area by BARTÁK (1995), 11 additional species have been collected in this region, including two new species for the Czech Republic fauna, viz., Anapausis floricola (Bílina, Rado III, dump restoration, July 23-Aug. 27, 1998, Malaise trap, 1>) and Scatopse lapponica (Bílina, Mnišský les, oak wood, May 7-14, 1995, 1+; Vršíček, mixed wood, May-June, 1996, emerged from dead wood, 1+; Duchcov, floodplain forest, Apr. 30-July 23, 1998, emergence trap, 1+; Lom, small pond, May 13-28, 1998, Malaise trap, 2>>, 1+; Chloumek, hilltop steppe, May 13-28, 1998, Malaise trap, 1+; Holibka, hilltop steppe, Apr. 2-May 14, 1998, emerged from dead wood, 2++; Holibka, May 13-July 24, 1998, emerged from dead wood, 4++); five additional species represent new records for Bohemia, viz., Anapausis soluta (Bílina, Rado III, dump restoration, July 23, 1998, sweeping, 1+ and July 23-Aug. 27, 1998, Malaise trap, 2>>; Bílina, Rado III, Phragmites, J
