A Repeated Tillage Treatment and its effects on the Infiltration Parameters
Original language description
Leaching and runoff losses in an arable land are related to the treatment of the soil. The infilitration of water through soil profile and surface runnoff on the agricultural soils are strongly depending on a tillage treatment of a topsoil layer (Klute,1982). The key roles in those processes play the hydrophysical properties, mainly saturated hydraulic conductivity K of the treated topsoil layer. This hydro-physical property determines the distrubution of atmospheric water and the ratio between surfacerunoff and infiltration. The study is focused on the influence of different repeated tillage treatments to saturated hydraulic conductivity K on the relatively homogeneous soil profile.
