Original language description
Leaching and runoff losses in an arable land are related to the treatment of the soil. The infiltration of water through soil profile and surface runoff on the agricultural soils are strongly depending on a tillage treatment of a top soil layer. The keyroles in those processes play the hydr-physical properties, mainly saturated hydraulic conductivity K of the treated topsoil layer. This hydro-physical property determines the distribution of atmospheric water and the ratio between surface runoff and infitration. The study is focused on the influence of different repeated tillage treatments to saturated hydraulic conductivity K on the relatively homogeneous soil profile. A study-site located on one soil profile had been divided into five (1997-1999) and/or four (1999-2000) separate tillage treatment areas (TTA) and repeatedly treated in the long-term treatment.
