Altogether 5 species of Rhinophoridae were found in the study area, which represent 55.6 % of the total Czech fauna. Most species are common or even very common (Rhinomorinia sarcophagina) elements of our fauna that may be especially abundant in disturbed or anthropogenic environss. The finding of Paykullia maculata represents a first record for Bohemia (Bílina - Rado III, 27.viii. - 23.ix.1998, 1 male, same loc., 25.vi. - 23.vii.1998, 1 male, same loc., 23.vii. - 27.viii.1998, 1 male, 1 female, Bílina- Jirásek III, 23.vii. - 27.viii.1998, 1 male, Vršíček, 25.vi. - 23.vii.1998, 1 female, Štěpánov, 15. - 26.vi.1998, 1 female).
