Influence of heat stress on the metabolic response in broiler chickens

  • Original language description

The purpose of this study was to find out, if the comples of vitamins B and C had alleviated the consequence of heat stress influence on broiler chickens metabolism. Some biochemical and haematological parameters were determined in groups of chickens atthe age of 7,26 and 39 days. Significant different values were found in pCO2, in pO2, in chloride anion levels, in MCV (mean cell volume), in haematocrite and erythrocyte number.
