  • Original language description

Altogether six species have been found in Podyjí NP representing 66.7 % of the total Czech fauna of this family. The commonest species in the area were, as expected, L. lutea and L. bifurcata, by far the commonest lonchopterid species throughout the Czech Republic, but common were also L. strobli and L. fallax (both found in 7 localities). The locality supporting the most diverse lonchopterid species spectrum was Ledové sluje (hosting all 6 species). We cannot exclude that also L. meijerei and L. nigrociliata occur in Podyjí NP, especially they may be found along banks of the Dyje river. One species found, L. scutellata, was included in Red list as vulnerable species (BARTÁK 2005).
