Altogether 251 species (= 63 % of the total Czech fauna) have been recorded by the recent study and by previous authors in the Podyjí NP area. Among them only seven species previously recorded from the study area by other authors were not recorded or revised during recent investigations. Recent occurrence of one of them (C. caerulescens) seems to be evident and they have been missed most likely due to their strictly localized occurrences in the Podyjí NP area. The following two missed species are threatened and vanishing saproxylic species that are very rare at present (C. piger and S. diophthalma), but they probably survive in the Podyjí NP area, because of the simultaneous occurrence of many other threatened saproxylic species. The occurrence of theremaining four species (C. lasiopa, C. personata, C. pubera and E. flaviceps) recorded only by CZIŽEK (1910) from Vranov nad Dyjí in Podyjí NP remain unclear but not impossible. We also revealed by recent revision of previously published
