Results are presented from tests veryfying a device (MS-02) for measuring fuel consumption. This device was designed in and worked out by the Department of Motor Vehicles and Heat Devices of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovak Republic). Fuci consumption was measured in a drawbar test of the ZTS 163-45, carried out according to internationally valid standards and test instructions. Results verified suitability and accuracy of the device for measuring fuel consumption. With the measurement and recording device MC-23 (BMC Messesystem, Berlin) it is possible to analyse the course of fuel consumption at all time intervals, supporting subsequent automatization of processing the results by personal computer.
