Performance of the Small Tracked Harvesters in Spruce Stands
Original language description
Harvester technologies represent the second most common logging system in the Czech Republic. The high productivity of this technology is very necessary to cover its acquisition and operational cost. The aid of this study is the monitoring of the operation time and shift time of the tracked harvester Neuson 8002. The chronometry was analyzed during the felling works in premature forest stands. These results are worked up for tree-volume of coniferous species from 0.05 to 0.35 m3/tree, which require formanufacturing total time from 65 to 128 seconds. Total standards lies for intermediate (improvement, advanced) fellings within the interval 0.10 - 0.36 working hours/m3.
