Modification of detection process on ZnO sensors by ultraviolet radiation
Original language description
The contribution deals with influence of radiation in the UV region on detection propertis of conductive type gas sensors. The aim of this work is to investigate the properties of gas sensors with active layers prepared by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technology. The deposition was carried out from ZnO targets. The DC responses of the sensors to a atmosphere containing 1000 ppm of hydrogen and 100 ppb of ozone were measured. The maximum sensitivity S (ratio of sensor resistances S=Rair/Rgas). The temperature of maximum sensitivity (Tmax) and the response speed are also discussed.
