The aim of this work was the preparation of the thin, bioactive, antibacterial, adhesive layer of system SiO2-calciumphosphate-Ag on inert titanium (Ti) by sol-gel dipping method. After aging the monetit powder was added into basic silicious sol with silver particles and after stirring the Ti samples of first group were covered by sol-gel dipping method. Sol with monetit powder aged for next 7 days and then second group of Ti samples was covered at same conditions. After drying covered samples were fired slowly. The adhesion of fired layers was measured by tape test. Layers showed a very good adhesion to substrate. Bioactivity of layers was measured by in vitro test in simulated body fluid (SBF) at static conditions. After 14 days of exposition in SBFthe layers on samples of second group contained the globules of hydroxyapatite what indicates the bioactivity of deposited layers.
