Original language description

The paper deals with applications of computer image analysis in evaluation of crystal size distribution and control of crystallization process in technical sugar solutions. The Laboratory Universal Computer Image Analysis - LUCIA G system (by firm Lab-Imag Prague) was chosen for this task. The system enables to extend the work at the crystallization station and to make it substantially more efficient, which involves the evaluation of the produced crystals and the acquirement of the necessary substance properties and kinetic parameters.
