    Structural Aspects of Retrovirus Assembly.

  • Original language description

The process of assembly is an attractive target for the development of anti-HIV drugs. Unfortunately very little is known about the events between the synthesis of Gag polyprotein on free ribosomes, and budding and release of immature virus particles. Inthis communication we report on our study of the time course of HIV gag protein assembly and on the molecular organisation of Gag protein shell in immature M-PMV capsids.
