During the conference, participants presented six plenary lectures, 25 oral communications, and 18 flash communications. Moreover, the number of 129 posters were exhibited and presented. All the contributions corresponded to one of the following topics -food composition and authenticity, functional foods, food processing, food safety, circular economy in the food value chain, healthy and sustainable diets, and future foods. A webinar on Scientific Writing took also place as a satellite course. Following the XXI EuroFoodChem Conference, a Special Issue will be published in Food Research International.
