    Possibilities of Application of Simulation Program HYSYS

  • Original language description

    Recently, HYSYS simulation software has became one of the most worldwide used tools for chemical processes simulation. It is a modern, generic simulation program with numerous tools for process design and optimization. In this work the program structureis described, as well as possibilities of its use for educational and commercial purposes. The example of a simulation of ethanol dehydration is provided to demonstrate application of the program in a process analysis, particularly the usage of sub-flowsheet that enables to use two different thermodynamic property models.
