    The Use of a Simulation Program in a Chemical Processes Analysis

  • Original language description

    Recently, HYSYS simulation software has became one of the most worldwide used tools for chemical processes simulation. It is a modern, generic simulation program with numerous tools for process design and optimization. In this work the program structureis described, as well as possibilities of its use for educational and commercial purposes. The example of a simulation of a sulfur furnace in a sulfuric acid plant is provided to demonstrate the usage of the program in a process analysis.
