Original language description
Great numbers of smaller and bigger problems complicate control of a boiling house. Prediction of time of boil in a vacuum pan belongs to key one that affects work of entire boiling house in principle and that is impossible to be solved by classic or logical control methods. Thus prediction of time of boil and time of its the longest phase performed by the expert system and on the basis of relative analogies of time paths of boils and analysis of the continuously measured level in the vacuum pan is described in this paper. Graphs, tables and displays from working tests in the sugar refinery in Lovosice (CZ) complement the text.
