Original language description

Linear, non-linear, and probability methods of image analysis form fundamental tools in many problems related to engineering, environmental and biomedical systems. The paper presents a method of restoration of corrupted image parts using Bayesian probability prediction model applied to the neighbourhood of the reconstructed image area. The main part of the paper is devoted to estimation of the Bayesian model parameters that correspond to a given two-dimensional signal.
