Dynamical Behavior Arising From Mutual Interaction In Mass-Transfer

  • Original language description

Oscillating reactions with an autocatalytic effect involving protons are called pHoscillators. In a single continuous-flow stirred tank reactor, these reactions often provide very complex dynamical behavior such as different types of steady states, spontaneous oscillations, bistability between various steady states and/or oscillations and hysteretic loops. In addition, there exist conditions under which the system is excitable, that is, the response of the system is larger then external pulse. In earlier studies involving one-CSTR arrangement with the reaction between hydrogen peroxide and thiosulfate catalyzed by Cu2+ in the solution of H2SO4 (HPTCu), we examined all dynamic features experimentally by varying the flow rate and inflow concentration ofthe reactants [1]. Also, we applied perturbations at a particular dynamical mode and studied the system's response to single-pulse or periodically pulsed perturbations [2]. When two reaction cells are coupled by diffusion-like mass transf

Dynamické chování dvou spojených průtočných reaktorů s nelineární dynamikou
