Study of electroosmotic characteristics by current monitoring and fluorescence
Original language description
In this work, we experimentally study electroosmotic characteristics of capillary microchips made from polymeric materials. These microdevices have been developed in our laboratory in order to carry out electrokinetically driven analyses of biological samples. Mcrodevices were prepared by combination of micromilling, thermal bonding and gluing techniques. A novel method of preparation microelectrodes based on galvanic deposition is also described. The electroosmotic characteristics (zeta-potential and electroosmotic mobility) were obtained by the electric current monitoring. Two independent methods for the experimental evaluation of the electroosmotic characteristics were employed. (i) the current monitoring method and (ii) the fluorescence method. Theresults and both methods are compared.

Studium elektroosmotických charakteristik vodivostní a fluorescenční metodou
Czech description
Byly studovány elektroosmotické charakteristiky mikrokapilár vyrobených z polymerních materiálů. Mikrozařízení byly připraveny kombinací mikroobrábění, tepelného spojování a lepení. Elektrody byly připraveny galvanickou depozicí kovů. Hodnoty elektroosmotické mobilty a zeta potenciálu byly zjištěny vodivostní a fluorescenční technikou.
