CHARACTERIZATION OF ELECTROOSMOTIC FLOW IN PDMS MICROFLUIDIC DEVICES
Original language description
This work deals with experimental study of electroosmotic characteristics of capillary PDMS microchips. Electroosmotic flow is widely used for transportation of chemical and biological samples in microfluidic devices. Our microdevices have been developedin our laboratory in order to carry out electrokinetically driven analyses of biological samples and the knowledge of the electroosmotic characteristics is crucial for optimisation of these devices. The electroosmotic characteristics (zeta-potential andelectroosmotic mobility) are obtained by the electric current monitoring method.
