    The reaction of hydrogen peroxide with thiosulfate and sulfite in acidic solution1 (HPTS reaction) is a chemical system providing nonlinear behaviour in a continuous-flow stirred tank reactor (CSTR). The observed dynamical regimes of HPTS reaction are various steady states, periodic and aperiodic oscillations under isothermal conditions. The HPTS reaction belongs to the extensive family of pH oscillators because the concentration of hydrogen ions exhibits large amplitude periodic changes in time, typically in the range between 4.5 and 7. HPTS reaction is based on hydrogen peroxide ? thiosulfate reaction, which exhibits complex periodic oscillations of pH value. The reaction is also temperature sensitive. Increase or decrease of temperature by more then0.5 °C can lead to a sudden change of dynamical behavior. Also, different dynamical regimes in this system can occur just in a limited temperature range. .

    Reakce peroxid vodíku-thiosíran a siřičitan v kyselém prostředí (HPTS) uskutečněná v ideálně promíchavaném reaktoru vykazuje nelineární chování. U této reakce při konstatní teplotě bylo zjištěno několik stabilních ustálených stavů, periodické a aperiodické oscilace. Oscilace jsou v rozsahu 4,5 až 7 pH jednotek. Reakce je citlivá na teplotu, změna teploty o 0,5°C vede k náhlé změně dynamického chování.temperature by more then 0.5 °C can lead to a sudden change of dynamical behavior.
