Original language description
We have developed a micro-fluidic system with embedded ion exchange membrane and a array of micro-electrodes, located in a close vicinity of the membrane. The micro-electrode array allows us to measure spatial potential distribution in the depleted diffusion layer at the membrane. High performance multi-channel data acquisition system enables to capture even the very fast changes during concentration polarization. The fabrication process of the micro-device and the multichannel measuring platform will be shown and experimental results of the electric potential spatial distribution for various parameters will be presented.
