The article is focused on the experimental study of dynamics of the glucose - glucose oxidase - ferricyanide enzymatic reaction in the presence of sodium hydroxide in a continuous-flow stirred tank reactor and in a batch reactor. This reaction provides an interesting nonlinear dynamic behaviour (bistability, excitability). The reaction serves as a model of certain functions of living systems due to presence of the enzyme glucose oxidase. The reaction exhibits pH-variations of steady state in dependenceon a selected inlet parameter. The dynamical behaviour of the reaction was examined as the inlet parameters were varied. The main parameters are the inlet concentration of reactants and the volumetric flow rate (reciprocal residence time).
