Original language description
This contribution combines experimental approach and simulation approach for the construction of bifurcation diagram in pH-oscillatory reaction between hydrogen peroxide, thiosulphate ion and sulfite ion in the small amount of hydrogen ion. In the experiments we study the effect of different concentration of the inlet concentration of sulfite ion on wide range of flow rate in continuous stirred tank reactor where the dynamics of the reaction take place. Results of the experiments are arranged into two-parametric bifurcation diagram showing a qualitative change in the dynamic of the system. The available chemical mechanisms of this reaction are also presented. Simulations are solved in closest agreement with the experimental conditions and are performedin software package CONT. Results of the calculations are finally compared with the experimental results.
