Pilot's physiological measurement in plus and minus Gz load changes
Original language description
Pilot's physiological measurement in conditions of alternating plus and minus Gz (gravitational acceleration) has been done during real flights and in a human centrifuge. The comparison of physiological responses in both load types bears on the evaluation of changes of the continuous blood pressure and the heart rate. High level of pilot's plus-minus Gz tolerance is essential requirements to cope with low level flights in agile aircraft. Plus-minus Gz tolerance cannot be simply derived fromthe level ofrelax plus Gz tolerance. Pilots were examined during flights in double-seated aircraft with sinusoidal alternating plus-minus Gz acceleration at range from minus 1.5 Gz to plus 3.5 Gz. Physiological response to the plus-minus Gz load during real flightsis not identical but only similar to human centrifuge load. Nevertheless the sinusoidal profile during the real flight is possible to use for pilot's tolerance to plus and minus Gz load evaluation.
