Reaction of diethyl [(oxiranylmethoxy)methyl]phosphonate with 6-chloropurine and 2-amino-6-chloropurine gave corresponding 9-[2-hydroxy-3-(phosphonomethoxy)propyl]purines which were treated with amines and subsequently deprotected with bromotrimethylsilane to give N6-substituted 2-hydroxy-3-(phosphonomethoxy)propyl adenines and diaminopurines

Reakce diethylesteru [(oxiranylmethoxy)methyl]fosfonové kyseliny s 6-chlorpurinem a 2-amino-6-chlorpurinem poskytla odpovídající 9-[2-hydroxy-3-(fosfonomethoxy)propyl]puriny, jejichž reakcí s aminy a následným odstraněním esterových skupin bromtrimethylsilanem byly připraveny N6-substituované 2-hydroxy-3-(fosfonomethoxy)propyl adeniny a diaminopuriny
