Neuroactive pregnanolone isomers during pregnancy
Original language description
The pregnanolone isomers (PI) allopregnanolone (3alpha-hydroxy-5alpha-pregnan-20-one), pregnanolone (3alpha-hydroxy-5beta-pregnan-20-one), isopregnanolone (3beta-hydroxy-5alpha-pregnan-20-one), epipregnanolone (3beta-hydroxy-5beta-pregnan-20-one), progesterone, and estradiol were measured in 138 pregnant women. All the PI showed a significant increase during pregnancy, which was more pronounced in the 3alpha-steroids.
Czech name
Neuroaktivní isomery pregnanolonu během těhotenství
Czech description
Isomery pregnanolonu - allopregnanolon (3alfa-hydroxy-5alfa-pregnan-20-on), pregnanolon (3alfa-hydroxy-5beta-pregnan-20-on), isopregnanolon (3beta-hydroxy-5alfa-pregnan-20-on), epipregnanolon (3beta-hydroxy-5beta-pregnan-20-on) -, progesteron a estradiolbyly stanoveny u 138 těhotných žen. Byl navržen model stabilizujícího vlivu pregnanolonu na průběh těhotenství a opačně působícího vlivu estradiolu.
