In evaluating IHC staining of RCC tumors we often observe histological heterogeneity of many specimens, which should be taken into the account in statistical analysis of the results. In particular, this concerns the proportion of cells with clear cytoplasm and with granulated one, this chracteristics negatively correlates with intensity of CAIX staining.

Czech description
Při hodnocení imunohistochemicého barvení antigenu CAIX v adenokarcinomech ledvin často pozorujeme histologickou heterogenitu nádorů, se kterou je třeba počítat při statistické analyse nálezů. Zejména je třeba mít zřetel na poměr buněk s jasnou a s granulovanou cytoplasmou, tato charakteristika negativně koreluje s intensitou barvení CAIX antigenu.
