    Adenodine Receptors Modify NK-Cell-Mediated Cytotoxicity

  • Original language description

The study was designed to assess the effect of adenosine A (CCPA), A3(NECA) and A2A (CPCA) receptor agonists in natural killer (NK) cell-mediated cytotoxicity across several mammalian species (mouse, rat, pig and human ). The experimental models of restraint stress, transplanted tumors in mice, spontaneous malignancy in rats and humans and ontogeny in pigs were followed. An immunosuppressive effect of A2A receptor-coupling that is comparable in all healthy subjects studied, was noted; while the A1 and A3 adenosine agonist don´t influence significantly the NK cells activity. A2A agonist stimulates the immature and stressed immune systems and amplifies the depressed cytotoxic effector function in tumor-bearing hosts. On the other hand, A1 adenosine receptor agonist suppresses only the cytotoxic activity in stress-conditioned mice.

Adenosinové receptory ovlivňují NK buněčnou cytotoxicitu

  • Czech description

Studie byla věnována účinku adenosin A1, A3 a A2A receptorovým agonistům při sledování buňkami zprostředkované cytotoxicity u živočišných species (myš, potkan, prase, lidé). Experimentální modely zahrnovaly stres, transplantované nádory u myší, spontánnímalignitu u potkanů a lidí, ontogenezi u prasat. Imunosupresivní účinek A2A receptoru byl nalezen u všech zdravých jedinců, kdežto účinek A1 a A3 adenosin agonistů neovlivnil NK buněčnou aktivitu. A2A agonisté stimulují nezralý a utlumený imunitní systém a rozšiřují potlačenou cytotoxickou funkci u nádory nesoucích jedinců. A1 adenosin agonistický projev byl nalezen u potlačené cytotoxické aktivity u stresovaných myší.
